It's Over 02:56
Weed tasting like pad thai Big tree, no bonsai Smoke it all with my hands tied Give a fuck about a top 5 It's over Whether we know it or not Shake 8th maracas Feel like Barabbas if I'm being honest Hold my bonus if I have no honor Hold me closer if you're seeing danger And I'm at different angles Too old to get entangled by all that's dangled You're lost like dongles We're ducks getting strangled By analogs and descendants of the same storms Holding places like parking attendants There is no mending what you're bending Blocks, sticks and endings Stomach's hurting, wasn't my appendix It's the gymnastics that I do in search of baby leverage Jettison and hemorrhage The messages and suffering Old tales, whoop there it is A prisoner to some goofy shit Like who can be crowned the goofiest Why you think I'm so ruth-e-less? It's over Whether we know it or not Oh no Whether we know it or not Oh no Skip the circle jerks 'Cause I hate stans and can't stand stans If I left you hurt I might explain but show your hands White flags and peace signs I like that plan White vans and tree lines Lines in the sand Second shooters mean bigger budgets Peep the lineup Pick 'em from it I'm no Judas Back up off me You ain't spent no time inside a oven Or broke a sweat with french baguettes Lemon juice on my finger tips Keep the palette fresh Tell whoever chill You keep dishonorable people around you? What's that make you? If you know, you know So hey, what's your excuse? What's your excuse? You keep dishonorable people around you? What's that make you? If you know, you know So hey, what's your excuse? What's your excuse? It's over It's over It's over Whether we know it or not (Whether we know it or not)

Pay myself, pay my friends That’s a great week No matter where you’re sitting Front row or the nose bleeds But you know me And I’m wanting more I’m running out of ways to say it Now I gotta show it Showdown with the shogun False bottom suitcases passing through Logan The system isn’t broken But it isn’t foolproof Head down, eyes open You can see what’s in front of you Gems and jewels Pens and tools Bong rips and Kools Damn I never felt so cool Never felt so cool We keep em 10 to 2 10 4 I copy but I don’t Settle scores or charge em Angry me isn’t charming That’s all they want Even if the silence kills me You say fuck 12 But you pigs are just as filthy Talking so silkily You get no sympathy Simply put Love you, pay me Love you pay me Carrying all this weight Gonna get in my way Could maybe kill me How do I let go? There’s no point in escape If I go the same way Wherever I go There’s always my shadow Distance let me know how sick I got Can’t see the forest from the trees Or follow the plots Sad ends mean smiling ops And I ain’t trying to have em pop Careful who you share your Ls with Cause somebody burning both wicks To take you out It’s easy if you say it out loud I ain’t letting that happen No how, now… Talking so silkily You get no sympathy Simply put Love you, pay me Love you pay me

Confession I carry poison I just won’t share it It’s killing me I just thought you should know No more running I just thought you should know No more running My Mom told me All the bad things, relax Just let it roll of your back Instead, I held onto it Made it part of the act Mining my traumas like their rare earth metals Hoping once they’re out I’ll feel settled No I just thought you should know No more running I just thought you should know No more running Chased, haunted Better roll up and guzzle Pop and sniff And Scratch Break your back Bounce In the bank counting Blasting Eek-A-Mouse Seeing who’ll pounce Confession I carry poison I just won’t share it It’s killing me I just thought you should know No more running I just thought you should know No more running No more running No more running No more running No more running

Atom bombs Teeming with the life of countless suns Cannon balls Crashing through the walls What have we done? Enough to earn what’s coming towards us Couch potatoes think their special forces In the field wouldn’t even be the main courses I got my sources No sorcery, just watching Dying by clips And cheap 5ths Clipped the obit and saved it Instead, I wish we’d saved you Saved the ink and paper For some Ws Over something high proof Now all I do is grab extra To pour out for all of you I’ve loved you I love you more I loved you I love you more I’ve loved you I love you more I loved you I love you more (I love you more, love you more) Atom bombs Teeming with the life of countless suns Cannon balls Crashing through the walls What have we done? Atom bombs Teeming with the life of countless suns Cannon balls Crashing through the walls What have we done?

about

Following an uncertain and heated year, we made it out of Chicago for a month long stay with my partner's family on the East Coast. Considering that I was about to be fully removed from the place that keeps me busiest, I figured this would be a great opportunity to get some recording done in a quiet place where I could more fully be with my thoughts and process just what the hell went down the previous 13 months. I reached out to Killer Kane to let him know I had the time to do something if he was interested and as luck would have it, he was. While we had previously performed together in 2017, I am supremely grateful that he trusted me to do his production justice even after many years of sporadic contact.

What follows is Blue Beach, a meditative vacation of the mind. I wanted to make something that someone could lost in for hours or enjoy for a quick 15; whatever you need it for, I hope that it fills that time for you. Pairs well with a joint and a Topo Chico too.
